The description of the system

This media converter rack is an integrated equipment for media converters, it is acceptable for the most 14 or 16 sets of 10M, 100M, or 1000M media converters within a rack-mountable chassis, which is supplied with unified power. Installing at the center of network, the rack not only reduce the links, simplify the structure, but also ease for management and maintenance.
The rack supports the converters or powers plugged and played. The type of single power or dual power can supply the power of the rack. Adopting dual power supply, the load of each power can be reduced and the life of the power would extend. When one power supply is fail, the other one can still work independently. It would enhance the reliability of the rack. When you repair or replace the original power supply, it is unnecessary to unplug the media converters or rack, you can unplug the failed power supply to repair or replace directly. The rack can provide perfect schemes with high efficiency for fiber networking center.

Installation instruction

Take the media converter rack into the standard rack. Before mounting all standard series of media converters with external power into the rack, please screw the media converters to the side of the power supply; fix the fixed sticks alongside of the media converters, then insert the media converters with the fixed sticks into the rack, match the DC power plugs, screw the media converters to the rack, install the front of baffle-board for the idle slots. Ensure the screws tightly to fit the rack and the fixed sticks.
Insert the AC adapter to the rack and 220V AC power supply (or insert DC adapter to the rack and 48V DC power supply)
